ASSIGNMENT 13: THEORY VOCABULARY, PART ONE
To ReadTake a look through the folders located at the below, arranged by topic. Each file contains a few encyclopedia entries. Choose one file that interests you to read for this exercise.
As you read, take notes on key terms you see being deployed in the pieces. In some chapters, these are highlighted, boxed, italicized or otherwise marked. In other chapters, you need to do this mental work for yourself. |
To WriteSelect at least four terms (ideally, more) that you feel may be of use to you in your future research. For each term, provide: A working definition of the term, and explanation of how you might deploy the term for your own research (note: specificity is best here.) Locate at least one image (photo, ad, video clip, etc.) that you might use to illustrate one (or more) of the terms you've defined above. Think about this exercise as if you were a teacher, and needed to explain a term to junior high students using your image. Go here, and copy paste any definitions you've done with images to our group resource page.
